Adventure F3 manual start, how hard is it to install a starter?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I just got an old Adventure F3 with a lot of old parts.   It only had manual pull start and I know these

engines are tough to start.   I am wondering how difficult it would be for me to install an electric start

system on this engine.    I found some sites that sell parts (mecafly). They show the ring gear,

also the ring gear with the small pulley attached.  The mounting bracket for the starter, but they don't

sell the starter.   What else would I need as far as electronic parts?  Switch, wires, battery, relay?

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
