bensd
What are your opinions on having a log book? I’m sure many just record their flights on a GPS tracker app. What information do you record and why?
alan_k
I use a BHPA logbook more intended for free flight, even though I am not a member of the BHPA. I record flight number (currently 559), date and time of launch, wing, place of launch, motor type, flight duration and total hours. Rough description of area flown, anything interesting/unusual and finally max height. Good to have a reference of all your flights.
chrsfrwll
Date and time (of take off and landing) for me, with details of wing, motor, wind speed and direction, place of T/O, type of launch (forward/reverse), max and average speed and altitude, amount of fuel burned, and finally any remarks and photos. Maybe a bit overkill
