sandman
Whilst I understand the hang test to get the angle of dangle and back tilt, how do you establish the vertical component to get a CG point on a paramotor ? The reason I ask is that with a gyro having the motor thrust in line with the cg is desirable in preventing some nasty things happening although the separation in distance of the drag component(wing/rotor) is quite large in comparison or am I asking a pointless question regards John
admin (Simon W)
For us it's a bad angle of dangle that causes the undesirables to happen. Rather that anything c of g related Will will cover riser twist in the classroom which having the motor leaning back too much can cause.
