  1. Mac Fly Thor 80 21kg Mac Fly 130 24kg One of the strongest frames out there.. I would personally go and check out any Paramotor your thinking of buying before placing your money down...

  2. Prop play will not be due to the crank, if you have play on the prop it will most likely be due too the final drive from the gearbox.  The main reason for play is the prop centre nut had come loose at some point or is lose and has worn the prop flange, Prop Nut, and the Spacer...  We carry these parts for most of the Thor range...

The thor 130 evo has either a Walbro WG8 carb (same as the thor 130) or a Polini float 24. I personally would get the Walbro one just becuase parts are so easy to get for it and it's very straight forward. Getting parts off Polini can take around 2 weeks typically. Not sure about performance differences though...

Most parts are available from us. we do keep a large stock of parts but can not stock everything so some will have to be ordered in and can take around 10-14 days..

  4. If you have been taught with a non BHPA school and want to join the BHPA you will have too sit the Pilot exam, Learning the US, Thailand etc will teach you local air law and not UK air law...  You might be able to get in via the alternative entry system but i would advise going with a BHPA school either UK or Abroad to save any extra costs doing exams or assessments.

    Good luck with your training..

  5. We have a demo 24m S2 and can locate a 26m if you want a demo on one... The speeds recorded are around the same as the old S1 size for size but with better handling and better glide, The launch is really easy and comes up with a slightest of breezes.  Like the S1 the S2 free flies beautifully also thermal flying with the motor is a pleasure with no horrible pitching...  Ozone are soon to release the Sirocco 2 very soon...  Contact your local dealer for more info..

  6. Thanks for posting up what Happened.. Your very lucky to be alive and not too have lost anything...  This is becoming Far too common these days..

Starting on the ground Is a 100% NONO....  It still amazes me that people are STILL being taught to warm up or start up while holding the Machine on the ground, Pulling the motor over with one hand while the throttle Hand is holding back the machine!!   This has to be one retarded way to start a machine...    I've heard all the excuses... " I hold the Kill" "I've checked the throttle and it was free"  All Bollox....

Please Guys if you see someone about to start there motor up on the ground go and advise them the correct way to start up...

  7. Poz. There could be many reasons why your numbers may not make sense..  If it is the Exact same wing with no Design changes..  The only things i would say would be different flying on that day, climbing harder, or higher.  A few 100 rpm over the hour will change your figure a fair bit

Are these figures from one flight?or average over X hours.... Did you weight the fuel in and then run out or weigh out left over fuel?

I have noticed that different days will return different Eco figures with the same wing.  The 250 is great with atmospheric changes unlike some other engines/carbs and can be tuned lean way past where other engines  would go POP due to the great cooling,  Doing this you do risk long term bearing failure..

Your figure are around the same figures my Mac fly 250 customers are reporting Circa 3lph flying sub 20m wings. My Viper 3 22m was 2lph @ 115kg all up, My speedster2 24m is 2.3-2.4lph and my Viper 4 18m is 2.35...  Flying Faster with more agility when i want to play, and as an added bonus beating my old four stroke eco figures for around an extra 5kg added weight but with about 30kg's more thrust.. win win!!!

  8. We normally keep Small filters in stock but have had a run of orders and have sold out... Hopefully we will have some back very soon, try googling Malossi fuel filters. These should do it... and fit on 4.8id tygon tubing

http://www.racing-planet.co.uk/filter-malossi-round-version-transparent-p-171665-1.html#.WPeFe1PyugQ  Never used these guys but other companies are around.. Or try your local scooter/motorbike shop...

  9. The Mag Max has a very short trim range so i doubt it would be a problem..

If you have PPC rating why not just get your self a Paramotor trike, you will then be able to fly normal size wings from 15m-30m depending on your skill level and weight..

If you need any info on the Mag Max feel free to give me a call...

  10. The best set up for Me is your No 2 figure..    If your setting this system up i would use Huge pulleys some 30-40mm Harken pulleys..  Do not use the standard pulleys..  I have 20-25mm Harken on the front and 40mm Harken on the rear with a really thick dyneema rope, spliced on the Brummel hook and tide on to the speed bar.. The larger size pulleys reduce any fiction cause by the small pulleys being offset or rubbing on your hip..

The other two system seem to Move my position too much coming on and off bar quickly...  #1 system will pull your legs up high #3 same but no so bad.. #2 no pitch movment
