  1. Hello all and thank you for your advice and comments. The picture is of the unfinished product. I have fitted 2 rubber lined p clips to the end of the alluminium rod which fit nicely to the cage spars. There is no fouling of the netting as the rod simply passes through the mesh holes. The reserve webbings are fixed to the shoulder straps with sticky velcro and fixed to the Karibiners. I would not be able to tolerate a front mount banging on my legs etc. I have gone for the double handled bag as you can see.
  2. I have managed to top mount the reserve now. I have manufactured an alluminium brace that fits between the two uppermost hoop support spars. This in turn is threaded through the loops on the bag straps, these straps are looped under the top member of the main frame. It looks quite neat up there out of the way.
  3. I am selling my Dudek nemo 2 size XL with moto risers. The wing is an ex demo with approx only 5 hours flying time on it. If you are interested message me and we can talk.
  4. Thats great, thank you for the pic too. I was struggling with this as didnt want it in a crap place. Dave. What are your thoughts on the bulldog, high hangpoints and fiddly cage? Dave.
  5. Thats brilliant thanks Russell. I have done endless web searching for vids etc but found not much at all. I am going for a lightweight 160kg chute and like you....hope it never has to leave the container. Thank you once again. Dave.
  6. Hello all. Has anybody side mounted a reserve chute on the bulldog moster 185? My service guy has said that this might not be possible due to the high hang points set up my motor has. He said that front mounting might be the only option.....and one I don't fancy. Thanks Dave.
  7. Hello Simon. How about a brand specific page that could include tips and tricks and fixes for each kind of paramotor. For instance, I have changed the cords for shock cord that hold the cage together during transport on my Bulldog moster as the original cords are a bit prone to snapping during taking apart. Regards Dave
  8. The power of paramotorclub is awesome!!! I have been contacted by the said guys and now well on my way (after a few beers) Cheers guys you are legends
  9. Well no replies as yet from the lucky two. However, I am beginning my training this weekend and I am soooo excited.... I am shaking like a dog pooing. A stockbroker urged me to buy a stock that would triple its value every year. I told him, "At my age, I don't even buy green bananas."
  10. I have spotted a couple of paramotors flying over my works a few times recently. I would love to know who you guys are as I would love to meet up for a chat as I am in the throes of starting my training and need all the goss. Thanks Dave.
  11. Hello to everybody. I am brand new here and indeed thus far have absolutely no paragliding/paramotoring experience as yet. I have though achieved 14 parachute jumps under the RAPS training system but I have not done anything for the last 6 years. It is my definite intention to begin my paragliding training in 2 or so weeks time with an iron clad view to progressing to paramotoring. For me, parachuting, which is a great adrenalin rush..is all over too quickly so here I go with powered flight!. I work in Aylesham near Canterbury and my excitement is fuelled by seeing two paramotorists buzzing around the sky near the site I work on (tease). I would welcome any words of wisdom from anybody who is willing to stand me in good stead. I cannot wait!
