The nerves soon went with a great takeoff and a craking one foot landing. Glad you took off although it was looking doubtfull due to conditions at one stage.

Hi , does anybody know, or can recommend how I can purchase some insurance. God forbid if anything happened where somebody got hurt or killed due to anything falling from me in the air or trashing somebody's property. Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers George

Hi i too am 16 stone but was heavier when i first started. Firstly i will quickly tell you of my own experience, one i am scared of heights and i was never too sure if it was for me, for probably 4 years i wanted to do it but my nerves allways got the better of me. July 2013 i thought do it or forget it, i was sat at the computer withmy finger paused at the send button it was now or never as i was about to send funds to an instructor i had been talking to. It was done, i now fly on my own with no instruction the whole thing from start to finish was a journey i would take again, the only thing i regret is i should of done it 4 years prior. Its amazing to fly, you meet many friends. Dont think too much about the negatives and dont do what i did looking at all problems that can occur, get a good instructor . Hope this helps.

I have seen them on the link so thank you all for your quick response, the sizes on the link specify small med and extra large how do I know what size would be suitable I can count out small and med but was wondering if a large is available but not in stock or if it jumps from med to xl I got fairly big hands but they re not shovels.

Can someone please advise me on a good quality glove, nothing to bulky but they have to be very toasty. And yes I know Im a big girl before you say it Mr Westmore.
