  1. Conditions today were fantastic for flying, 2 perfect takeoffs and equally perfefect landings, my flying partner today was a french guy called fix who had two problems today which forced him to land out, so track him down through some farm yard and returned him to the field. His day was over, so this got me thinking what would I do and how would I react, I think its time to see. I cut my engine at 900 ft pulled my trimmers in and started my decent, all good so far until I made the decision to pull a hard turn which I needed to stay the right side of the field but I dove far to quick I thought I was not going to make the barred wire fence so pulled hard to the right to miss the fence which stoved me into the ground very hard. If I were flying anything other than the volution parajet I think it would of ended in the bin. The badly mis judged landing was caught on camera, watch this space.
  2. Here we go again, I have changed my 3 blade prop system on my macro 2 for a 2 blade. I purchased a new pulley from parajet which I believe is for the compact and have purchased an after market carbon 125 with a reduction of 2.7 prop. I went for a fly tonight and had to abort my takeoff as the thrust was well down and would never of got me off the ground. We checked the rpm and it was reving at 7900 so the engine is fine. Any ideas guys, cheers.
  3. The piper x is just what I was looking for thanks. Pat thanks for the repair option but in the back of my mind I know the parajet box could break up at anytime and I have seen the mess it can make of props. I have also ordered some other belts will let you know.
  4. Hi, anybody know if there is any other air box or air filter that I can fit to my volution 2. I was doing some maintenance and noticed it was split up the back. I can buy a similar airbox from parajet but at £80 it seems quite a lot for what it is. Cheers George
  5. Hi I have been flying the synth 34 for a year now, I purchased it new off simon in 2013 I am selling now as want something more agile as ive gained more experience. I can honestly say for such a large wing it is very friendly to launch wind or no wind , its very stable and safe. If you are interested give me a ring 07824552511
  6. Great news, its something I am definitely keen on having.

  9. Hi I am selling my synth 34 which was purchased in August 2013 recently had a couple of lines replaced by the loft so rest assured its been thoroughly checked over. The wing is in excellent condition and has flown around 45 times, nice safe stable wing. The wing has allways been dried before storage but there are the usaul muddy marks in places which will sponge off if you have the space to open up and clean. £1650.00 call if interested 07824552511 George

  11. Hi I too am quite new to the sport of paramotoring, I have had around 35 flights and my advise is to buy nothing until the time is right. You would be better to get some professional training and fly on the schools equipment until you are ready to make the right choice of equipment, talk to other pilots, they are all helpful in my experience and experience is priceless. One lesson will not in my opinion help you to decide if its something you want to do or not. Get trained fly then make your decision .
  12. Gez, that was lucky, must of been difficult getting out of the harness. Glad your ok, has it put you off the sport.
  13. Very well done in what seemed a frightening land out. I have around 35 flights behind me but am constantly looking around just in case the engine fails, as they all say its not if you have an engine failure but when. I was simulating engine out yesterday and landing in my local field which I am very familar with I hope when the inevitable happens it goes as well. I dont know how I would of coped with such a walk with all that gear.
  14. I sent mine to the loft wish I could say the same.
  15. Hi I would like to build my knowledge on cloud and weatherconditions etc can anyone recommend a book that covers this . There are many books out there but there must be one that stands out from the rest. Cheers George
  16. After much searching I have found 200 mts of black 1.3mm tennis racket string. Hopefully when it arrives its what I hope it to be. Then I have the task of re-doing 3 sections of cage, there is going to be some sore fingers.
  17. Cheers pat, ive looked at black fishing line but its only 0.44 of a mm .
  18. Hi, I am thinking of getting my 3 section cage powder coated, which will involve removing all the strings. I have asked parajet for a price to supply me with the lines they use and 40 meters including delivery is £75.00 does anybody know what else I could use instead and in black. thanks in advance. George
  19. Hi, I have a couple of tears around the cell openings but am not particularly happy patching myself. In your opinion who is the better aerofix or the loft, thanks.
