My top80 did come with a hour run in already done,

Top 80 do say to run in for 10hrs at proggresive rev settings after 5 mins warm up and allowing to cool in between, i guess thats the norm?

Miniplane did recommend a ten hour running in procedure which i am sticking to but just wanted to hear other peoples opinions as alot of people i spoke to say just fly it as normal after an hour.

I have heard lots of different stories about running in a 2 stroke

New motors a dream! tiny tachs a nightmare! not that bothered about having a tiny tach but its good to log your hours

i just got an email from the seller-

If you peel off the front sticker of the 2A you will see some greyish rubber materiel to the right of the switch.Straighten a paper clip, or something similar, and stick it into the rubber and move it about and up and down.What you are doing is trying to short the side of the lithium battery to reset the TT.It may take several attempts...This should work and unfreeze the unit.

Handy tip if you gotta un freeze or reset your hours as it did work BUT, it froze shortly after while running my motor on 2100 revs then turned off!! think i got a dud

reset button dont do anything, 360 is the setting for 1 spark but its frozen with it on the display

Yes got full instructions but no trouble shooting stuff, it was working for about ten minutes then just froze on 360 on the screen

I just emailed the seller

My tiny tach was working fine, now it just reads 360!, i have tried pushing and holding the select button but not a sausage!
