zigzag53
Being new to paramotoring im not sure if this is normal or not. Whilst warming up my engine i heard a pinking noise similar to a car engine makes when its been driven a bit hard and then parked up and cooling down. The first time i heard it i stopped the engine and checked everything over. But found nothing wrong. Never heard it whilst training and now assume its just the engine warming up. Guest
Nothing to flap about I would say (unless its running super hot!) Its likely to be just the exhaust cooling down and shrinking, but check your plug in case its running hot. SW
zigzag53
Hi Simon, thanx for the reply. Not sure if i explained it right!!! I hear it within 2-3 min of starting the engine so its warming up, not cooling down.
Guest
If its a new machine this would also be considered normal to a point. Maybe a little video would help... I would still check the plug just out of sheer paranoia. SW
Steve
Mount a temp gauge on there for peace of mind anyway.
