Jacoolw Posted November 21, 2013 Share Posted November 21, 2013 Hi I plan on flying up a river valley with steep hills of about 800ft on both sides. The valley runs from South to North. Wind is expected to be SE 6 knots on the ground in the area, I don't know what the wind strength will be in the valley. I will fly low between 5 and 50 ft. It will always be best to do it in Zero wind if possible... Not Knowing you Valley etc, just a thought. How Wide is it? It will be easy to enter but on your V5 you might find you struggle to exit if you have to climb out quickly or if you have to climb out through sink.
