Pianoman
Hi Guys, thinking of nipping to the Highlands for a few flights. I know about the obvious military risks in that area and am keen not to get wiped out by a Typhoon on a training exercise but I've heard that 'Right to roam' legislation is different north of the border which means (safety permitting) we can take off almost anywhere (within reason) and don't necessarily need land owners permission like you do down south. Is this true? Anyone with experience in this area able to advise me please?
stuartasutherland
It's true, we do have a right to roam. But for PPG I feel it is still polite to ask permission. Where are you headed?
duskdawn
Hi, I believe “Right to Roam” in Scotland covers only non motorised activities. Gary H
