130 helix prop

Recommended Posts

No - not unless you fully understand the relationship between prop length, pitch angle and blade width - and how that relates to the engines peak torque / rpm and power band under load.

Also, Vitorazzi specify a unique blade design which aids engine cooling and have spent a lot of time matching the ideal prop to their motor for optimum power / economy, so I doubt you would do any better simply by buying a longer one off the shelf........

Vittorazi do sell a 130cm Helix prop. The 130cm prop is an option when you buy a new Moster engine, so we can assume that it has been fully tested by them.

Some paramotor manufacturers that offer a choice of the 125cm or 130cm prop on the Moster engine claim more thrust from the 130cm. For example: PXP Moster with 125cm prop = 70Kg thrust, PXP Moster with 130cm prop 73Kg thrust.

Only consider doing this if you have enough cage clearance.

Prop cloning - You can often find clones of the original tested and recommended props that give the same performance at a better price, but I do not know of a clone of the the 130cm Helix Moster prop.

has any one tried changing from a 125 to a 130 helix prop on a moster im thinking about changing to save fuel and gain a bit of thrust is it worth the cost[/qu ...... reply from phil107 "the updated redesigned helix prop for the moster aids better cooling of the engine.when changeing from a 125 prop then going to a helix prop 130cm it will be far better.you will notice a difference.and the helix prop is stronger.hence why its made of carbon fibre."

"you will do far better if you change to a 130cm helix prop that has been redesigned for better cooling too.it depends if you fully understand the relationship between prop length. pitch angle and blade width.and power.etc"
