Laserbee
The nearest I can find is over 40 miles away. Does anyone know anyone qualified to teach near here? I've bought my own harness, wing and instruction book but no motor yet. Thanks, Laserbee
Guest
Hi, I have taught a few people from Portsmouth (Membury Airfield on the M4) or www.paramotortraining.com And Steve Haze may be closer? (not sure exactly where he is to be honest) www.wingandachair.com Welcome to the Paramotor Club SW
phil1975
Steve is in Redhill but uses fields around the local area to train. All the flying is just outside Guildford. Best to go meet both & then decide who you feel most comfortable with / who is in the most convenient location / who makes the best brews etc & go from there. Guest
Mate when it comes to brews I would win hands down! Coffee, De-Caf or full. (filter and instant) Tea, De-caff or full. And multiple flavoured chocolate drinks. Not to mention the soups! SW

morgy
When your thinking about starting to learn to fly then being close to your instructor is a must.IMOP I know as when i was learning to Hang glide I had to travel to Brighton from woking.... Over an hour away by car... I know it's not that far but at the time i did not have a car and had to walk to the station then get the train down when the conditions looked good. But as we all know learning to fly in the uk can be a pain at the best of times and the amount of waisted trips i had i could have bought my kit twice over...
