ivanandme Posted July 20, 2011 Share Posted July 20, 2011 hi all i new new to the sport and just started doing some ground training with the help from mark up at ypm. bought a wing to train with a friend . plan is to do a lesson the train our selfs abit closer to home . thing is the wing is a bit big and trying to keep in the air at windspeed of 5mph and below is really hard .tried at 10mph -----wow my first unplanned flight bit scarry but loved it any advise on wind speeds for ground training with a large wing would be well resieved thanks ivan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You should be ok at ten miles an hour which wing have you got, sounds like you need a bit more training with your instructor !! Keep to below 8 miles an hour and you should be ok !!
