bignos
Hi all, whats a sub 10hr silex worth? is it suitable for a newbie?
fanman
It's a brilliant wing for a newbie, possibly the best non-reflex wing out there. It isn't too far behind the reflex wings in terms of speed either. Unfortunately for owners they fetch a pittance which is great for buyers. I know someone who had a real struggle recently selling a medium Silex with just 2 hours airtime for £500. Another guy I know has had one for years, he then thought he'd better go reflex so bought a middle of the road reflex wing only to discover he prefers the Silex. He's been flying his for 6 years very happily. Jeff Goin loves them and has a great Silex review on footflyer.

ArcusFlyer
Might be wrong but I have a feeling the Silex is just a re-branded Swing Arcus?
Radical
Might be wrong but I have a feeling the Silex is just a re-branded Swing Arcus? Hi there No, it is a totally different wing. However I believe Swing were involved in its design and manufacture. Cheers Steve
fanman
I thought Swing made them for Fresh Breeze as fresh Breeze do not make wings themselves. However it is quite different to the Arcus.
