Malcs
Just thought I'd say hello as I've disappeared off the radar for a few months. Not flown since June last year when I cocked up my takeoff and came down into a wall (no damage apart from stumbling backwards and taking the tips off the prop. Attempted to take off a couple of weeks back, first time I'd set eyes on my kit in all that time and I did the most perfect forward launch and take off only to find I'd left my kick strap attached to the pull start so I came down again and caught the prop which went beyond repair this time! All this in front of tv cameras that were filming me for Location Location Location, slightly embarrassing! Anyway, shall be ordering a new prop later this week, will be moving to a lovely Wiltshire village (with tons of large fields and in free airspace) soon and starting a new job which will enable me to finance this hobby a bit more! See you up at the flagpole for a spot of camping soon, I'll bring the Foie Gras and Lemongrass Sorbet as per usual! Cheers Malc
