alan_k Posted April 2, 2010 Share Posted April 2, 2010 I had been looking forward to meeting the chaps on the France trip but it was not to be. Somewhat disappointing but annoying from the fact that our Internet connection has been defunct for the last two days. If I had been able to check the live tracking or the weather forecast I would have known that the lads would have been on the move. So this morning in my ignorance I motored over to Airvault to find nobody there, they had been on the field early this morning but had been rained off before any flying could get underway and then set off for more southerly climes. A pity really as I had gifts of cake and beer for them, looks like I’ll have to drink it all myself now (with a bit of help from Shirley). On to a different subject, I bought a cycling bag from a charity outlet for the princely sum of 50 centimes.
