norman
Dudek Team Pilot, Dave Hairs, set a new FAI Championship World Record on 23 August which has just been ratified. Dave launched his Dudek ReAction 29 S and Bailey 4-Stroke with just 1.5kg of fuel (approx 2 litres) and flew for 4 hours achieving a total distance of 110.161 km. Here is his GE Track if you fancy a peek.
martinbg
Plenty of thermals and long glides. Interesting how some of the GPS data showed altitude spikes. Martin
norman
Yes Martin, I saw those too and wondered. Perhaps Hairsey can illuminate? As they spike they obviously go up, then down. Not something that is either desirable or likely. That leads me to believe they are anomalies. Edited November 12, 2007 by Guest
