Gulfstream1
Hi Guys Anyone have info on UK PPG altitude & distance records - height/distance/where in the Uk and when? - oh, and what PPG gear did the record holder use? Thanx.
surrey-dad
It looks like it is there for the taking, as category PF1Tm currently indicates 'No Record' for the UK ! Check the following link to the Records section of the UK Microlight & Paramotor Aircraft Association website at http://www.flymicro.com/records/index.cfm?record=listclass&class=PF1Tm Andy

Gulfstream1
Quite so ...... because although I think its generaly accepted that BG has been higher than anyone else, it's not a world record - only because the formalities were not adhered to ..... and I read somewhere else that a South African guy also beat the Spaniards altitude - but again, its not a world record.... Intersting reading - thanks Surrey-Dad
Phil_P
It wouldn't have been a world record anyway, as he didn't have any functioning means of recording his altitude.
