UKPPG East of England Come & Try, Fly-In For Fun Event August the 29th, 30th & 31st - 2009 Event: East of England, Come and Try, Summer Fly-In For Fun Venue: 12 acre UKPPG Flying Site, at March in Cambridgeshire, with on-site camping. UKPPG is holding the "East of England PPG Extravaganza", A 3 Day, come and try event, on the: 29th, 30th and 31st of August up at the UKPPG Flying Site in March, Cambridgeshire. This is a 3 Day come and try event, being held on the: 29th, 30th and 31st of August, where you can come and simply free fly all weekend, around the Fenland country side, test out new equipment in the air, enter free to enter fun competitions (with Prizes) or just have a laugh with fellow PPG Pilots and a good old knees up in the evening. The event is intended to be totally different from normal PPG exhibitions and shows, where products are just on display, we are offering everyone the chance to actually come along and demo / test fly the different products to experience them actually in flight. Paramotors available for test flights include: Bailey 4 Strokes, Flattop UKPPG BR100s. Custom Air will also have stands on site Parajet TBC (Other Brands welcome, please call) Pilots will also be able to fly Wings in every size and design from: Paramania and a range of different Models of Ozone and Apco Wings. There will also be other accessory companies present for pilots to try out their ranges of products in flight. We are also privileged to have the Paramania Parabatix Team performing some stunning demonstration flying over the duration of the event. Directions from Peterborough A47. Follow the A47 from Peterborough heading towards March all the way to Guyhirn Roundabout and then take the 2nd Right onto the A141. You will find a Tescos on the Left Hand Side just as you come into March and then you will come to a Roundabout. Take the third exit off the Roundabout onto the A141 March Bypass towards Chatteris, Take the Second Right off the Bypass, which is Burrowmoor Road. 50 yards before the sharp left hand turn at the bottom of Burrowmoor Road is the Entrance Gate to the Site. Directions from Ely and Huntingdon. Once you get to Chatteris, Take the A141 Bypass towards March, once you go passed a Golf Driving Range on the left hand bend you will come to a Roundabout with a Garage on the right Hand Side. At this Roundabout Take the Second Exit onto the March Bypass. Take the 2nd Left Hand Exit off the Bypass, which is Burrowmoor Road. 50 yards before the sharp left hand turn at the bottom of Burrowmoor Road is the Entrance Gate to the Site.
