togsie
I took a stroll across Ascot racecourse yesterday, I've lived near it for years but I never realised that there was a cricket pitch and a golf course in the middle of it. More to the point it would make an excellent site for a bit of ground handling practice There is a list of do's and dont's displayed at the entrance but the only one that is remotely relevant is a ban on the flying powered model aircraft. How long do you think that it would take before someone complains? Regards. Togsie
Dragonphotographic
I would think the easiest thing is to contact them and ask if it's OK to fly your big kite there now and again Both of the racecourses near me have model aero flying clubs so not an option when I asked
slim
Why not go the whole hog and ask if there is a corner we can fly from when nobody else is using it?
