Hello from the Isle of Wight

Hi, I've just taken the plunge and signed up for training with Simon Westmore on a fairly intense basis.

Living on the IOW it will mean travelling over to the "Big Island" on a regular basis but hopefully in time I can get my own rig and fly here on the Island.

Is there anyone else based over here that fly's regularly - it would be good to have someone to fly with once I get let off the leash.

I`m not on the IOW but frequently fly over there from the mainland.

You`ll probably soon tire of just flying around the island and want to go further - gurnard to Lepe, Hurst Castle and if you`re feeling brave Ryde to Gosport..

You too will soon be seeing sights like this;

Fantastic view, I'cant wait and am sure in time I will venture over to the Mainland as my confidence grows
