Ros125 as a starter motor

Recommended Posts

My Name is Julien from Canada  i am finishing off my paramotor training soon and i am looking to buy a ros125 on an airpro frame. my weight is 85kg and i am learning to fly on my ITV billy 22.5. I just wanted to know your experiences with the ros125 engine. I know it's not top off the line( bit heavy and hard to start mainly) but i don't want to get and expensive motor and wreck it while getting more flights in ( i am currently at 28 and 30 required for a license). Probably going to buy a brand new unit when i finish off university and get a house in two years. What are your thoughts?Anything i should look for? It hasn't got much hours on it and my instructor is selling it to me for 3000$ cad ( 1750 GbP).
