  1. You can use easy start, But you shouldn't need to, with a two stroke if you have a good spark and the right a mount of fuel it will fire/start immediately. The very reason you have to be very careful with electric starter's one little touch of the starter button and it's running, Do a compression test, and make sure you have a good bright spark . Check your carburetor, 90%of starting problems are carburetor related, there are many videos on YouTube on how to recondition your carburetor.  A motor that's constantly difficult to start is one step a way from let you down in flight. It's well worth sorting out ,and not using easy start, Good luck.

  2. Well what a fantastic weekend did wonder about the weather," those who dares wins"and we did ,flying every morning afternoon and evening, still can't believe it. Hedge hoping paradise, nice wind for easy take offs and landing didn't hear of a single prop going south.  Looked like everyone was making the most of it, 'Speed Bar' did well nice draft beer ,food all very nice, great to catch up with you all, Hopfully the Leverton wind mill can keep turning with the money donated from the club, And nobody did fly into it . Very well done once again Simon and all the team .

    Many thanks Geoffw.

Ps Simon more this year . please mate.

  3. Hi AFyork

First of all let me tell you my experience of getting into paramotoring did some paragliding training in Wales it was not for me just to much driving back and forth, 2/3 years later saw video about parajet ,went down to the parajet factory in mere and offered to buy all the gear there and then if they would include training for FREE,they agreed, 1 week in mere and 1 week in Spain, under the personal attention of Alex Ledger from sky school. Being in the right place at the write time that was for sure parajet was  just getting going at the time, But let me tell you this, training is the most important thing of all,and you will rely on it all you flying career, and you  may see it as expensive ,but once you start flying by yourself you will very quickly realise it was money well spent, and how it keeps you safe, and you enjoy flying so much more, Get  training you will no regret it thats for sure. Good luck

  10. I think this relates to the nitro200 , just been reading a post about Bailey, and that the development has stopped, Bailey have been around for many years now ,and let me tell you  if Bailey had got that four stroke  sorted we would all be flying Baileys,  there are 3 reasons why we are not,( 1 ) weight you do have to be able to move your motor around pick it up place it on your back and run with it. that's why I love my nitro 200, (2) power ,that's why pilots love there mosters ,and nito 200s  and (3) cost/price difficult one this , if there was a  perfect motor for the job out there  we would get the money from somewhere, but it has to be in the ball park, if moneys no problem nice R 22 or maybe cesena 172 very nice but the price, you get what I mean. Paramotors are very expensive for what you get and not that reliable, and that includes Bailey. So thats where  two stroke fit in , (1) light (2) power (3) cost, but with out some reliability  you have nothing. The nitro 200 allows me to continue to Paramotor at 66 years old, its so light,  powerful, reliable,,, But it is a two stroke!!!!! And I love it.

  11. Hi Terry  sorry mate insurance is though AXA  Versicherung AG in Austria  easy to setup, only place at the moment for 3rd party paramotoring insurance, not sure about a trke/quad,but they need your wing and serial number ,email them there so helpful. PS Did have insurance through the club but they stop offering the service not sure why.
