Hann i like my Gizmo's and like said being a newbie it's something less i have to worry about if i have a gauge or audible warning device, a friend who's been flying for awhile has twice crashed down because he estimated fuel content wrong, thankfully he was only bruised and battered but paramotor survived ok.

Maybe next year or year after i will have more idea and be able to judge flight time to fuel usage

And i now know of the "Tiggy fuel gauge" so i may just order 1 of them, once set right no worries as it tells you fuel and time left for flight.

Looks to me like they do their daily inspection or they might miss a few holes or small tears , OK i'll get me coat

Looks like i will too as after numerous emails the pillock told me today i need a 24v plug in transformer which he omitted to tell me previously , and Si it was more purely being a newby to all this flying malarkey and not 100% upto how long and how much fuel i'm using .

But this is not dead and buried i'm already looking into another similar device just need to dismantle it and see if i can re-figure it to work, plus it comes in 12 volt form so easier to add on to my existing set-up  

Cas that was exactly my thinking as it's certainly cheap enough to do, and it will take away the niggling inconvenience of trying to guesstimate the fuel level.

I'm committed now as i have already ordered 1 and i have a mental image of my design into my set-up, 

And the wife said its another of my hair brain ideas so i'll do it whether something is already on the market.

Oops may have thought of a minor flaw in my thinking with fitting this device, if you're an active wing tip down or spiral kind of flyer is the device going to be going crazy with the petrol movement in the tank , maybe best suited to XC flyers 

Hi Fellow Pilots ,

                                  right while trawling thru a certain Auction site earlier in the week i came across this,listed as a  Non-contact Water Level Sensor Detect Liquid Switch Container    they come 5,12 or 24 Volt so think it could be usable on my set-up, obviously i would need to modify it, as in moving the Light from the body and fixing into my Hand-grip, seems to be a compact item so not a lot of extra weight but possibly a doable exercise. my thoughts are having a 12 litre tank fix it at 3 ltr warning ?

My question is not seen others commenting on fuel level sensors or gauges apart from small mirrors, so what do or is on the market as a permanent gauge ?  

Having watched P H's video i think i would of been happier trying that above 500ft incase i had to deploy my parachute, not saying he's not a competent pilot and has 100% faith in his wing, just me personally would prefer a little more of a safety blanket for the possible failure factor. 1st test 130ft and 2nd 235ft thats gonna leave a dent in your body if it does go wrong.

Or is this just my over cautious nature kicking in ??

Or you could buy a towbar and fit a back rack problem sorted

Your life your choice but when you deploy a parachute there's a big instant opposite force and shock, with maillons ( permanent closed system) the strength rating and resistance is stronger than Karabiners.

Correct me if i'm wrong (Not) but the Rodeo like the Adventure has a very Solid molded fibreglass back area, which i think is stronger and more protective than most other Paramotor set-ups, but yes i agree the aluminium cage is a bit flexible.

Have read elsewhere Monty has not got a belt and now hopefully could be sorted

Like posted earlier measure all way round the edge and rib amount and put up dimensions and we'll go from there

Hi Monty, i own a Solo 210 engine which is the predecessor, this might help you as i buy my belts of ebay as loads cheaper even for goodyear, If you measure all the way round the outside it gives you the length, ie :- mine measures 559mm (hopefully same as yours) and i use a "Goodyear poly-v 220j 559pj" but a 14 rib, if you look them up on ebay they offer 3-24 rib's so may cover yours in them.

I agree with Steve! but if you study the video you will notice he's flying among other Paramotorists, so if this is the case why was he not more observant about all people in the air ?, sorry but to me in this situation its more likely to happen.

And yes i know SW flies a drone among fellow fliers but he's a lot more savy and keeps aware more from the vid's iv'e watched of his 

IMO i'd say carb not set-up as should be more to just under 4ltrs.
