  1. Hi All, I’ve bought some kit (collapsible trike, flight suit and transport bag) from a chap down just past Exeter and I live in Newcastle. It all fits into the paramotor transport bag on wheels and I need to get it up north. I don’t really want to use a standard courier company for it. Anyone down that way or headed that way that could pick it up and bring it somewhere further north? I’m back and forth to London a lot and have a few friends dotted around Bristol/Birmingham that could hold on to it for me. If not, I’ll probably use a motorcycle transport company for it. Cheers, nick
  2. Hi folks. I’m also selling my campervan I had built specifically to carry a fully assembled paramotor. Have a look here. Can do a deal on this if anyone seriously interested. You’ll see in the pictures the paramotor swings out so you can get at the rest of the garage under the bed. It also makes putting it on really easy. Its set up to work totally off grid for weeks at a time. Just add water and dump the waste every few days. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232938271239

  4. Hi folks, my paramotoring career hasn’t really taken off the way I would like so going back to fixed wing micro lights so my wife can come along as well. I have a parajet zenith in red and black with a polini Thor 200 pull start (has the easy pull start gizmo) an airdesigns ramaflex butterfly, helmet, windsocks, wind speed gauge, etc. The whole set up has about 10 hours on it. It also has a gin copy under mount reserve that has zero hours on it, thank goodness. The paramotor new is £6500. The wing is £3500. Add in about £300-£500 worth of extras and you’re at about £10,500 to purchase new. So what’s it worth used? How about £8000 or offers for the whole set up? It’s located in North Shields near Newcastle -upon-Tyne. It’s not something I would ship but happy to look at delivering it myself if you can’t pick it up. PM me your number if you’re interested and we can have a chat about it. here is the link to the ebay ad: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232951327264
  5. thanks - nothing is ever easy or cheap in this sport!
  6. Installed mine th other day - great bit of kit and larger than the original for a bit more protection.
  7. Does anyone know how difficult it is to retrofit an electric start to Polini Thor 200 Evo? Do you have to crack the engine open or is it just a case of knocking out the blanking plate and bolting it on? Cheers, Nick
