  1. OK update: New Walbro carb, wound out the Low setting 1/4 and its running perfect.
  2. Unfortunately not as I just fitted a brand new Walbro carb and I am back to the same problem I had to start with so not a bloody clue what's going on.
  3. No I haven't as I didn't purchase the motor from him but I guess it would be a good idea considering he is the guy importing and selling them. A little feedback goes a long way sometimes so I might send him an email to explain.
  4. I recently purchased a paramotor and it came with a brand new prop supplied by ParamotorPropellers.com After just 2 hours of flying I noticed the one tip has already got 4 splits WTF Be careful where you order your props from guys
  5. It turns out it was the carb which was f***ed so all it running ok now
  6. Nope still not running properly. I have opened a new thread about the problem now.
  7. I have a Simonini Mini 2 which starts and idles fine but wont rev over half throttle. Have cleaned the carb with air compressor, fitted new gaskets etc, have also tried using another carb off a working motor and still no good. There is lots of black oil/fuel coming out of exhaust flange but the spark plug is clean and dry My mate thinks it could be crank seals, ideas anyone?
  8. Well looks like I may have found the problem. A filthy diaphragm.
  9. Thanks for your help Pete. I will try it when I get a new plug and hopefully with a little luck it will be ok.
  10. I have just tied this and the stupid thing still wont rev properly, full throttle does not sound smooth at all. I have also replaced all the fuel lines, the filter in the tank and removed the primer bulb incase that was starving it of fuel but still no luck.
  11. I have a Simonini Mini 2 Plus with a Walbo WB37C carb and it wont run full revs as it boggs down after half throttle. If anyone else has this engine, how is your carb set up and what oil ratio are you running? The manual says 3% but 150ml per 5L seems quite a lot.
  12. OK I decided to email BHPA directly and ask the question and this was their reply after waiting 7 long days. Dear Nick Thank you for your e-mail, could you please confirm your BHPA number. Regards Well some bloody use they were
  13. Well yes it was in fact a serious question but just a shame there isn't a serious answer. I read somewhere about having different badges for different ratings, hence asking the question.
  14. Can someone please tell me what the difference between these badges are?
  15. I went to D&R Starters in Wolverhampton. http://www.dandrstarterswolverhampton.co.uk/ The guy was very helpful and even took the time and explained what each piece in a starter motor does. I could have probably ordered any small bushes off eBay and grinded them down but I can't solder for s**t so it was worth the half day out and £20 in fuel
  16. After an 80 mile round journey, £5 spent on getting new bushes soldered to the motor, a little grinding down to size and a bloody fiddly re-assembly, the starter motor is working again
  17. What magnets? lol I have got a price for the complete unit ready to bolt on to the engine from someone for £152 and UK PPG £183. Just received an email from Vittorazi: The price for the complete starter for the Easy100 is Euro 69.00 Shipment costs to UK is Euro 20.00. To the above prices 22% of VAT is not included. €108.58 = £90.80 (approx)
  18. Battery is fully charged and working perfect and the photo's above is how it looked when taken apart so its all very clean, I have not had to clean any of it I am currently enquiring about a starter motor for an AM6 Engine, they are floating around on eBay around the £30 mark. As you can see from the image they are very similar but I am a little puzzled that the Fiem has a spring on the bendix but the other doesn't. Really hope its the same, even if it only lasts half as long as a heavy duty one.
  19. That sounds good, nice to hear a positive feedback first before I contact them. I would guess its just the brushes which need replacing. If and when I get it working again I will then have to work out why it wasn't catching the engine to turn it over. I wish I saw that video before taking mine apart What an idiot I am lol
  20. Think I might contact Burghfield and see what they can do. Everything looks good with the motor apart from the Brushes which I broke when putting it back together. I am hoping its just the brushes which now need replacing.
  21. I think it would be cheaper ordering a whole new unit than going with someone like them lol
  22. Tried him too but no luck lol I have tried: *Parajet *Bulldog (Clive Bunce) *Custom Air *Para Shop *UKPPG but waiting to hear back and Couldn't get hold of Paul Haxby (AXB). Even through the motor is from AXB he probably won't have any parts in stock as I have found out a few times previously which is a little strange. I fitted the pull start to the motor today and the teeth just about gripped the engine and turned it. After about 3 pulls it don't engage the engine so it wont turn it over which is even more annoying.
  23. I called them earlier and they don't have any starter motors at all on the shelf
  24. Anybody know where I can get one of these? I don't mind if its a different brand, I just need a new starter for my Vittorazi Easy 100. Preferably from a UK stockist.
