  1. Hi try www.xamax.co.uk They will embroider your logo onto a fleece similar to the regatta for £7.50 each, polo shirts for £3.75, caps for £3.00... A very professional company and cheap as chips This may be of some help to you Regards Dean
  2. Hi Martin, Thanks for that, i was amazed at the unbelievable quality with no signs of vibration in the picture and you can more or less fasten or stick them anywhere. I'll be ordering a couple of those in the near future, looks like i've found the answer to my question. If anyone's looking for great video equipment that will put up with the vibration, noise and electrical interference check out http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/index.html Thanks everyone for your input. Guys the telephone number for dogcamsport is 01726 891812, the guy you are looking for is Mark Nelson, saw him at the NEC last weekend, he has a lot of cameras, mounts and attachments, posted this in Tip to tip section just a few minutes ago, knew I saw this thread somewhere Regards Dean
  3. Hi alll I purchased a camera which can be strapped onto a helmet at a shpw in the NEC last weekend, it requires 2 AA batteries and a memory card, it cost £85, the guy had a very impressive stand full of all sorts of cameras, mounts and attachments, well worth a look, he's based in Cornwall.....Mark Nelson....www.dogcamsport.co.uk
  4. Hi Francis I see you are planning a trip to Ireland, any idea where you are going yet, I'm a newbie to this sport based in Donegal, I have just had my first taste of paramotoring by way of a days groundhandling at Paddys paramotor training on Saturday whilst in UK at an exhibition, it has given me a great taste of what is to come, I have spoken to Paddy and a few microlight pilots about our area here in Donegal, we have maybe 5 grass strips and one tar strip based in a 6 miles radius, which the microlight guys use to hop from strip to strip, and a shed load of others if we want to do a bit of cross country paramotor heaven I would say There is a Fly-in organised for August, and as I am going to be the first paramotor pilot in this area, i think it would be great to get a few more floating around through the hills and valleys!!! I will have more details posted soon I would be interested to hear your thoughts Regards Dean
  5. Hi Simon Do you have any information on the weather this weekend, 12th jan yet Forecast is very bad here in Donegal, I'm trying to organise going down to you guys if it is suitable this weekend!!! No decision on my wing yet, I will explain when I see you.. Thanks Dean

  7. Simon I am gong accross to the NEC for the Autosport show on the 12th Jan which is a Friday, if the weather was suitable I could travel down for some training on Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.....if it suits you..... Dean
  8. Hi all Thanks for your replies, looks like I need a reflex wing for a start, I have no idea about the classification of them, Dan I see you have a 26 and Norman you are selling a 30, whats the difference between the numbers on them??I weigh 95 kgs, how do I check what type suits me for my weight, can anyone recommend any websites where I can get a better insight into making my choice... Merry Christmas to all, hopefully I will meet up with a few of ye when I come accross for a few lessons... on that note Simon how are we looking for a few lessons over hols...
  9. Hi All I am about to take up paramotoring and havent a clue about which wing to buy, I had thought about a second hand wing to train but am being told that it would be better to buy the wing which I will use to fly and get comfortable with it on ground handling rather than change over to a new wing, which makes sense.. A wing which has been recommended to me is a Paramania revolution which apparently is a good allrounder. Can anyone give me some feedback on this wing for a begineer with regard to training, flying, cost, trainer harness or different harness???? too many questions and not a clue what to look for!! I would be very interested in anyones advice or comments Regards Dean
  10. Folks When they say pilot weight 60-100kg, would a 92kg all belly and three chins kinda guy be too close to the max weight and maybe be better of with a more powerfull motor???????what motor and wing would ye recommend
  11. Hi Guys Many thanks for your help...I have also spoken to a guy in Omagh Co.Tyrone who is extremely helpfull I am on the border to Northern Ireland so I wouldnt be too put off by the licence issue, besides by the time I learn to fly it will most probably be put to bed!!! At the moment it looks like I will head over to Simon for a few lessons during the hols...weather permitting!! We also have a flying club in Letterkenny with a 350 metre tarred strip , hangarage and clubhouse(mobile home with a heater!!) with around 16- 20 microlights flying out of here, ranging from a flex wing ..X-air...Icarus c-42...Rans...to name abut a few We hold an annual fly-in every year in August. Check out the website for more info and some pics...... www.letterkennyflyingclub.com Black stuff galore that weekend Norman!

  13. 1064....pity I cant fly a paramotor!!!!
  14. Hi all I have just returned from the NEC I had a tandem flight in an adventure trike in France during the summer and am mad to get in the air, the guy out there could train me in 3-4 days one on one, but it seems here in Ireland one must start off paragliding, which I dont want to do..... I got this link from Norman through the paramotor magazine forum, who tells me I can start off straight into paramtoring... I am willing to slip over to the uk to have lessons and be advised on what equipment to buy for a few weekends... Any help or information would be much appreciated Many thanks Dean
