There was virtually nil wind, and I managed a couple of decent forwards. If I'd had my motor on my back, I'd have been away!!!.......

Is anyone else using the Brauniger IQ Basic GPS ?.........

I've been in touch with Memory Map and they say that their mapping software is not compatible, apparently they cater for mainly ETrex and Garmin......

Another possibility is FlyChart.

Any ideas?........

I was just looking at the Lumix GF 1........

Looks a great camera, read a couple of reviews that say picture quality is up there with DSLR's. Has anyone had dealings with this particular model ?........

I have sold a few of them now and everyone who has one has given amazing feedback. It's fair to say I have not heard anything bad about it yet.

The non HD version which I currently have, is also an awesome bit of kit if your trying to spend a little less.

It records in H.264 but saves it as MPEG4 so you need to download a player that will play that format.

I use Quicktimehttp://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ it's free and works well.

Thanks Tom. I can play the video now but it jumps a few frames each second. Can I get round that too. Nice clear picture though

HD video uses a hell of alot of RAM memory.......

I've got some Pinnacle software, and when just viewing HD tapes it can use up to one Gig of memory and even more when editing. My old PC only had one Gig of RAM and that did the same thing, jumping frames and a chequered effect appearing on the screen.

I was given a Nash zero tolerance second skin fishing thermals They cost £29 and are very very warm i have flown in +2c with just my thermals ,fleace,jeans and my summer flying suit. I have to say i any very impressed with them for the money. i was never cold at any time during the flight.

The new Parajet Cyclone has 40 BHP!!.............far more than the evo puts out. I've seen a youtube clip of it being tested with no problems at all (well over 100KGS of thrust!!). Parajet's owner Gilo Cordozo has flown it and he said it's like "taking an elevator into the sky"

I sure hope there's no truth in this "excess thrust/collapsed wing" talk, or there's going to be alot of accidents!!........

Bought a GoPro HD camera from the PMC shop just before xmas, and I've got a couple of questions regarding choice of memory cards............

I've read in the instructions that the camera accepts 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 Gb SD cards. My questions are:

1- Roughly how many minutes of footage can you capture when filming in HD mode, per Gb of card storage?

2- How many still images can you capture?

3- What make of SD card is best for quality?

Not bashing the brand featured. Loads of them will do it. Mine wont thats all.

Another good reason to have the prop well back away from the netting is to keep your fingers if they should poke through it. Yes, good technique should prevent that too I know but it still seems to happen alot.

I have a Parajet Volution Macro which I bought second hand. Some say they're a little on the heavy side, but they do have plenty of power!! Aside from the weight issue, I've not heard any bad things said about them.
