Is it safe to fly solo on a tandem wing? The wing in question is an Apco Play 42 mk II on a tandem trike. The specified weight range of the wing is 140-240 Kgs.The all up weight of me and the trike comes at around 140 kgs.Is it ok to fly like this at the bottom of the specified weight range. Was thinking of putting some ballast in the passenger seat and fly.I don't have a solo wing as of now.Pls advice.

Its doable, but you are flying a weightshift machine. Bigger wing needs more weight for the pendulum weightshift part to work effectively.

also, wind is more likely to cause problems penetrating because your wing is so lightly loaded, so without ballast near zero wind would be helpful
