paul2289
After a painfully cold flight I have decided I need some electric gloves. Is it possible to take a 12v feed from my Bailey engine? If so could it provide the 2.2amps I need or am i stuck with batteries for the gloves? Ta, Paul
ptwizz
I can't say for sure, but I doubt that the Bailey generator has 26W going spare. My Bailey 175 produces enough to recharge its battery in about an hour of running. A small modern lithium battery like this http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/brunton-torpedo-2800-portable-power-bank-silver-n28dt will heat your gloves for over an hour. paul2289
That's what I thought thanks. My backup plan is using one of my 3s lipos from my models. 2.2amph should do the trick. After an hour other things will be getting cold!
