ScoobySnacks
Simon, the other day you showed me a nav app on your phone that had all the airspace, nav aids etc. I'd like to have a look at it but can't remember what it was called. Could you refresh my memory?
myusername
Livetrack 24 I bought the unlock but it turns out my network loses it's 3G signal too often for it to work properly. I need to change phone & network! I did have to trawl the Internet to get an airspace file for Ireland, but found one free which seems to match my airmap. ScoobySnacks
Ahhh, that's for those funny fruit based phones, doesn't appear to be available for us Android types. Oh well. Any Android users have any recommendations? I need to get hold of a paper chart and start re-learning the airspace!
Christoffel
I use PPGPS on my experia android. It is pretty good as far ...
ScoobySnacks
Thanks Christoffel. Is it the Experia Z you have?
Christoffel
experia Z will be great but its too expensive for my pocket. I use experia arc S (used to be my wife cell phones) and tape it to my trike.
ScoobySnacks
I had an Arc S previously, the Z isn't that much different really, and the screen is ridiculously expensive to replace if it gets damaged.
Christoffel
lol ... you are right. We might pay more for the waterproofing screen ?
FERRYAIR
Ahhh, that's for those funny fruit based phones, doesn't appear to be available for us Android types. Oh well.Any Android users have any recommendations? I need to get hold of a paper chart and start re-learning the airspace! I use Paraglider Dashboard on my Android phone and it seems to have all I need, now I basically fly GA Aircraft so I am using it 'outside of it's intended use ' a lot of the time & it is a reliable resource. PPGPS is not as good as PG dashboard in my opinion, so I tend to sway towards PG Dashboard whenever I want to play with the gizmo's,
