Polini 110 owners - Check your Exhaust Bracket

I had an exhaust spring come off & hit my prop on my Polini 110 Thor engine at about 50 Hours.

Turns out the root cause was that one of the exhaust springs had sawn through the bracket:

Keep an eye on your bracket if you have one of these engines, or consider feeding retaining wire through the springs in case one of them does break free.

I was lucky not to add a sunroof to my wing

I would always put a safety retaining wire on all springs.
