Frame mount for Go Pro cams

Recommended Posts

I've seen a few videos on YouTube where people have mounted a Go Pro cam (or similar) to the top of their cage, angled down slightly so you can see what the pilot is up to and still get a really good view and feel for the flight.

Does anyone on here use this method to mount their cams? I really fancy it but am obviously concerned that vibration might work it loose and drop it through my prop.

Thought please

D

I used to do this - the vibration issue is a problem and creates some spacey shimmering sometimes - see an example of one of my videos here:

I wrapped the frame in 10mm neoprene and gaffer tape and used the GoPro bike handlebar mount which made a difference but vibration was always there.
