PowellStevens
Just trying to be a bit proactive in my planning here, in April i'm travelling to Africa for two weeks and have high intentions of doing some flying whilst im there. So the question is do some of you just freight forward your gear or just take it on as extra luggage? With freight forwarding im wondering how you would get around not having to pay duty and taxes as obviously you intend on shipping the gear back to its origin? Apreciate any advice on the matter? pete_b
So many different views on this and has been discussed before, have a search. With you on the plane they could decide not to put it on if they thought it had been used. Freight shipping Im not sure how you would get round import duties ect.
