enzo200500
Just musing over the mornings threads when a daft idea wafted through the space that is my brain. Is Ford Aerodrome still 'open access'? And could it be used for T/off and landing? Last time I was there on my Yammie EXUP speeding up and down the runway....Ahh the 80's
Guest
You have GOT to love the EXUP! I have owned a few EXUP1000's over the years, one featured in Streetfighters Mag, doing a burnout and a stoppie and as you would expect from such a mag, it all happened at a riding school !! hummmmm....... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/yamaha-fzr-ex ... 500wt_1348 SW
morgy
Not sure i will look on my air map. Yes it is open access but i am not sure you would want to use your wing on a concrete runway!!!
Guest
Its not so much the wing on the runway... I found no matter how hard you tried, the landing always sent a small bolt up through the legs due to the hardness of the ground. SW
enzo200500
Is there not grass either side of the concrete? Haven't even checked the charts yet Mark!! Si, our choice of bikes is scarily similar.....
