defmeister Posted October 4, 2009 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Hi Guys, especially the locals...... I live in Kilmarnock and, with a mate, want to learn the ropes. We intend to go for training in the spring (a bit on the large side now, but slimming like mad!!!). Meantime, I've aquired a dhv 1-2 wing and harness for the purpose of groundhandling. Went down to Ardeer today and managed to fly the wing a few times but it was just too blustery (my excuse and sticking to it). Is there anyone local who could show us the basics, just to let us get some practice in over the winter??? Could we meet up with you guys sometime at Ardeer when you are there to talk kit etc.?
