Steve Young Posted July 12, 2019 Share Posted July 12, 2019 (edited) Hi, my name is Steve and I am looking for someone hopefully in the Banff or Moray area of Scotland to introduce me to the sport and qualify me as a pilot. I should add I am back in the UK from the 18th july - 11 Aug and can travel if there are no instructors in my area. Any advice is greatly appreciated. As a somewhat competent person, I’d do some research around your area for training. I would highly recommend the proper training before taking on this endeavor, as your life and the rest of the community will be judged by your decision. That is a simple fact. Life comes at you fast 100’ foot above the ground. Training costs should never be discounted as valuable training and hands on experience can never be bypassed in lieu of determination that one can just figure this flying thing out. I’m doing a lot of ground handling myself, but will need training at some point before going to the next step. Can’t find anyone local.
