  1. Enzo you are destined for a life of Pie-ing not Fly-ing now off you go and make me that bloody pie you promised all those months ago :D

Leg is almost fully mended now (as it's Haze's turn now.. ) so I might just come and find you on Sunday to get my wing out to handle for the first time since the November!

Hmm wonder if i'll remember what to do .... :fail:

Oh and an address if would be handy if you dont mind me coming and poking my nose in

if you wish to come i will tell farmer there will be a few people ,turning up , are you flying?

  2. okay i will ring farmer tomorrow and book site for sunday all day

this site is norton farm seaford BN25 2UW

i also have a 'made up' training harness and wing you can practice with, set up for high hangpoints

we could meet at farm at 9.00am sunday morning

directions are: you turn off A259 at bishopstone and continue though old village, follow road untill you see norton farm sign, i will be there, robin

  3. looks like this saturday going to be northery, moderate strength wind, looking good for free flight, but sunday is looking calm, south easterly to southerly wind, looking good for paramotoring

So is anyone up for flying sunday either at eastside beach or on this farmers land at bisopstone,

steve you can come and practice your ground handling and you may pick up on a few tips on the way and eugene was interested in revisting newhaven

do you want me to ring the farmer at norton farm and arrange use on his field for sunday?

  4. steve the weather forecast for weekend is looking really bad

if you have had previous flights and after a few succussful practice launches , and with help you could fly from the bishopstone site, its that easy to launch from, just dont tell your instructor

its up to you, but anyway i will be intouch when forecast looks better, robin

  5. Robin, I'm only over in Shoreham but need to complete my training with Steve 'lucky legs' Haze first!!

If you like, I could pop over for a chat sometime?

    Steve.

hello steve, no problem if you wish to get involved, give me your number, either on this forum or text me your number on my moblie and will ring you next time i go paramotoring and you can see what it is all about

to go paramotoring you many need calm conditions with lightish winds, these are a bit rare this time of year, however, i will contact you, see you soon, robin

  6. I Robin

As fr as i know there are a couple of pilot's in your area, But they dont use this site... Seymore has there number but i dont think there very active as there more in free flight as are most of the pilots in your area....

mark, thanks for reply, your right , im am lucky in newhaven i live right in middle of some of the best free flying sites in sussex and i also take advantage of this.

i know there are paramotorists in this area, there is nick from brighton and vince and his friends from hastings but i have not heard from them for a while ( i wonder have they given up with the sport?)

it would be handy to have someone live near so we could take advantage of short weather windows for flying, so i will continue search

i m still watching forum and not doubt be joining you soon in the chichester area for a days flying, all the best, robin

    bests

    Carl

i too am look for someone to fly with in the newhaven area, i would like to have a mate local who would be up for flying in the odd weather window,peasmarsh/rye is a good 50 miles away but if you start flying with others maybe i could came down to visit one day. robin

  8. had a couple of very pleasant flights from the hambrook site, thanks, i was also surprised to see from southern hanggling web site that no-one flew at devils dyke as it was too windy, this must have been due to wind gradient, i did wonder why i wasn't making progress into wind at 1000 feet?

  9. Monday is looking good for the cliff's!!!! :D

I hope to go and fly there from about 10am onward....

yes newhaven cliffs on monday does look good according to forcast, but only for paragliding, it would seem a tad winding for motoring
