  1. Thanks for reply.

I didn't think of it obstructing your head, a valid point!

I will check next time I rig my unit. Any idea how the outer bag attaches to the cage? I would be interested to know if you manage to set yours up.

If I manage to set mine up I will post a reply perhaps include some photo's. Could be a while yet as I'm about to rebuild my carb yet :?

Anyway good luck with your set-up!

  2. Hi,

Does anyone know whether you can fit a top mounted reserve i.e. the type fitted to the cage behind the pilots head, to the older generation of paramotor units such as the Adventure F3 etc?

I see that the newer generation of paramotors in some cases have a special recess in the cage behind the pilots head.

    Anybody know the answer?

  3. Hi,

Where in the UK can I get an intake flange for my Walbro WB-32 carb? I'm not sure yet whether to fit a K&N type filter or to fit an airbox :?

Any advice as to which type to fit and where I get them from would be grateful.

    Thanks,

    Justin

  4. Thats great thanks. It has helped and from reading that it seems well worth the investment to get the power risers.

Every little bit of extra speed you can get from a normal paraglider wing under power is worth everything and I'm sure the 2 hang point settings will make it more comfortable to use with my F3's high hang points.

    Thanks for the info!

  5. Hi,

I'm also after an air filter and air box for my Adventure F3 with Solo 210 motor with WALBRO 32 carb. I just want to fit a replacement without having to do any mods just bolt straight on.

Does anyone know where the best place is to get such a thing? A link to any website or any info would be great thanks.

  6. Thanks for the info and advice.

There is no data as such as to the trim speed range the power risers offer but that could be due to the fact that they fit the Prymus 2 & 3 (DHV1), Ellus 2 (DHV1/2) and Synergy 3(DHV2) gliders in their range. By this I assume they share the same free flight risers too.

I have looked for another thread relating to this but no luck. If anyone can give me the link I would be most grateful!

  7. I'm going to be using a SOL Ellus for paramotoring on an Adventure F3 with high hang points.

My questions is are power risers worth the investment for paramotoring using a normal paraglider wing? My main reasons are for the 2 hang point settings they have as I'm using a high hang point harness.

Secondly do the trimmers make a big improvement on the trim speed? The SOL paramotor risers give 5cm of trim travel.

Any input on this would be most useful.

    Thanks in advance!

  8. Hi, I'm an experienced paragliding pilot with many hours paragliding and xc's but I'm new to paramotoring!

I've got an Adventure F3 and SOL Ellus 1 wing.

Has anyone flown the Ellus 1 under power especially with the F3? If so do you find it a good wing to start paramotoring with?

The F3 has high hang points so I've looked into it and SOL sell paramotor risers with 2 hang point settings, 1 for power and 1 for free flight plus trimmers. Would these be worth the investement? I'm wondering this because of the high hang points on the F3 and the higher hang points on the motor risers will make it less of a stretch for launching and on the brakes.

Finally do trimmers make much of a difference on standard paragliders with motor risers as opposed to deicated motor wings?

Thanks for any input in advance,

    Justin
