Sweet! Any word on delivery dates yet? Last I heard, Eric said "End of June." Anything since then?
I think its the 12th of never....Been coming for years this one

seriously guys, does it matter? The difference is so insignificant surely, at the speeds we travel at. The weather must be bad & everyone is bored & wants to split hairs?? Lets just enjoy whatever we have & burn as much petrol as we can

Jesus, that price is close to $2000 more than the Nitro, if my conversion was correct. If that's true, what happened to the "Around $500 or so more" that was talked about (unofficially) about 6-8 months ago? It's well known that it was gonna be more than the Nitro, but man, I hope it's not that extreme. $500 for 80cc more seemed fair, if not a bit much, but $2000! Yikes.
I guess its good old demand & supply, get people to stop wetting themselves & adding to the hype of it & maybe some sensible pricing will arrive

go with your heart, you will easily handle the sppedster

Hi m8. just checked out the rodeo. looks like a nice strong, compact design, but is 27kg vs 22.5kg of the skymax. also has less thrust 65/70 vs 75 of the moster. last but not least is the price $11.900 vs $8555, that's $3345 difference.I don't want to make compromises because of price, but to be honest, i think the skymax looks like a better machine for me, and if i get all my gear from the same dealer, i'm quite sure ill get some discount on top of what to me look like the best prices i have seen. thanks, mark.
I agree, just about to take delivery of a skymax star frame dual start moster from Adrian, ticked all the boxes for me & excellent advice & service from Adrian

I very much doubt the 280 has anywhere near the power of the Thor250, Having seen a US test where it was only slightly more powerful than the Moster...
ha ha, careful Mark, you will upset the fanboys....

I find that using a bungee strap to tension the ratchet straps (or rope etc) makes a big difference & does not allow them to work loose, just hook them laterally to add some tension, works a treat

What was wrong with the Revo2?
I had it as a beginner & found it a dog to inflate, I know lots of people love them (particularly in the old dart), but that was my personal experience

Ended up going for a roadster 2 24. Haven't flown it yet but will report back. I'll be just under the upper end of range.
a wise choice I think, I havent owned a roadster but have owned a revo2, got rid of it real quick... Have heard good things about the roadster, let us know how you go with it

Are you heading down to Adrians to pick it up?

No, I've not flown it yet, but the forecast is looking good for Saturday.
I'm down Wisemans Ferry way, so will be flying out of Forgotten Valley Paramotors airfield at Gunderman for the best part of it.
great, I will be down in sydney in about 3 months so will come up for a visit if thats OK

I think I have a lot more to say about an open hardware project like this than I have about electric paramotors.
But since my view is more negative than positive about the potential outcome of projects like this, I guess I should keep my mouth shut and just watch from afar.
Sorry...yes, as my mother used to say......

just looked at the vid & their website, looks amazing! I couldnt see anything about weight or battery range, or price. anyone know?

I always use an old android phone, many different apps that show altitude quite accurately. I have also tested them walking up & down steps & found the accuracy is more than adequate (I keep my main phone in my pocket to preserve battery life in case of out landing)

I’m in the US and I have a SkyMax, Star frame and Moster 185 Plus. It is simply amazing and is one of the strongest frames I have seen. Dry weight ready to fly was 52 pounds. I would buy another in a minute, no regrets.
so that weight includes battery etc? sounds good! 23.5kg

hi guys, any other experience with the apco split leg harness? I read somewhere that someone had problems getting out of the seat for landing. I really like the concept of this, as often I struggle to get in the seat on takeoff
