  1. I've had a Paradog flight deck for a while and find it, well, not very good. I was thinking of redeveloping the design and making it better but after 2 years and it still being where I left it I've decided to buy a different flight deck instead, so my question is, which is the best tried and tested flight deck?

  2. The sheath on one of my lines has broke, the line got caught on the prop, it hasn't stretched and the line itself inside is fine and intact, would you change it or not?

I can't remember which line it is.

  3. Hi Neil,

Sorry for a late (very late) reply, been busy with the new MayContain.com websites getting them ready for the big launch.

Anyway, i live in the Halifax area and Paraglide and Paramotor around this area and over the moors wondering over the boarder into that odd place (i think they call it Lancashire)

If you're ever over here this side of Yorkshire give me a call and we can sort something out for a training day or a flying day.

    Regards

    Richard

  4. Some Paragliders are not made to be tow launched, i think it say's some where in my reaction manual that tow launch is not recommended for that particular wing, i'm not sure why though, i can't see any obvious dangers between being bushed by a motor or being pulled by a vehicle, surely the wing still reacts in the same way? I do know people that tow launch with Paraglider wings without any problems.

  5. Hi.

Summer ain't here much longer and i would like to get back in the air before its to late this year.

    TIA.

You can fly all year round you know! It may be a little colder in the winter months but the air is more stable and you can get some great smooth flights all through the day and on snowy or frosty days the scenery looks fantastic, i've had some great flights outside the summer months.

  6. They seemed to enjoyed their pie 'n' peas and Yorkshire hospitality, pitty they've run out of space on their logs, it would have been nice to see what they thought of there Yorkshire stop! I was going to fly a short stint with them but i couldn't get off the ground soon enough because of a twisted riser, by the time i'd got off the ground they where well on there way, no way was i going to catch up, although i did try!
