  1. Ooh... very interesting. What's the deal with visiting pilots? If we have third party insurance can we come and fly from there (or any of your other sites)?

    Obviously paid for.

    :)

Yes, that should be no problem. Most sites have their own local no fly areas etc and a number to contact that is on the website.

    http://www.ufly4fun.com/find-us.html

I'll update the contact numbers for the sites shortly, but if any problems text me on 07785544378

    Chilly.

  2. Just to let people know that we have opened a new training venue in Norfolk near Little Ellingham.

Primarily for Paramotor Training, but microlights and the odd KENI can pop in too (PPR)

Site location is on our website http://www.ufly4fun.com/find-us.html

    Lat/Lon 52.562445, 0.981289

    British Grid: TG 02173 00257

If you know anyone in that area that wants to start paramotoring, please point them in this direction :fail:

    Cheers, Chilly.

  3. Hi,

I have just created a public calendar for Paramotor Events in the UK.

    https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?s ... ope/London

The aim of this calendar is to have a single calendar we can look up to see all the Comps, trade shows, Fly-Ins etc around the UK. It will also help others plan their events to avoid clashing with another event.

To add an event, email ppgeventsuk@gmail.com with the dates, location and a brief description or link.

If you don't see your event on there, just email me the details.

    Chilly

  4. To be honest Mark, its a shame you don't compete Tandem. A real chance to represent your country at the 2016 World Paramotor Championships in London.

That goes for a few more Tandem pilots in this county too..[sMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]

  5. Enter the Mersea Comp and show us just how good that wing is all round Mark. Sounds like its the fastest, most economical wing out there. We dont usually get any Apco Wings, so would be interesting to see how these new ones perform.

  6. Admin aside... Just think of the worst case scenario if you have to ditch, and cover all bases.

The Ferry will more than likely be going faster than you, and I wouldn't rely upon it as a safety net.

Everything is fine while the engine is running, but these things have a habit of stopping just at the wrong time. A few have done it in the past, and so far no engine problems...but...

Ramon, when he did the long flight from Spain to Tenerife had all sorts of safety measures, flotation suit, flares, radios, satellite trackers etc and a back up rescue helicopter!

Good luck if you attempt it, admire your drive, but please be safe [sMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]
