JimmydeVille
Hi all, Looking to see if there is anyone out there interested in getting involved with setting up/being a part of a new paramotor club/flying site in the South Kent area. I have access to a new site which we will loose if I have no takers. The skies need you!!! It has: -Flying field -On site camping and potential bunk house -Pub within walking distance -Friendly management -Coastal flying As far as I can see great potential. If your interested or fancy coming to have a look drop me a line. join us on Facebook. "Paddlesworth Paramotoring" www.facebook.com/paddlesworthparamotoring I look forward to hearing from you. All the best, Jimmy Edited April 21, 2014 by Guest
Pianoman
Hi Jimmy, There's a few of us that fly in North / West Kent but we'd happily travel if the site was good. Where abouts are you? JimmydeVille
Good to hear from you, I think I spoke to one of you guys. The site is near what was once the historic RAF Hawkinge. 10 mins flight from the white cliffs. The field is a little rough, there is however a plan to smooth it and a digger available if we get takers. Let me know if you fancy a trip down to check it out. I already fly from there. Guest
Nice to see that you have marked all of the vitally important areas :-) Looks like a great site! Pub crawl-able from camping and vice versa Nice sea breeze in the summer evenings. SW
JimmydeVille
Thanks Simon, It has great potential, everything we need!... except a us! I was hoping to drum up some interest and share the love. Maybe organising a mini fly in like one of yours could be a good way to go. What do you think? Bob_mcgowan
Hello Jimmy Me and a few others, fly out of a field in Swanley (junction 3 M25) its not an ideal site especially for beginners (National grid one side, M25 the other). I'm sure that most of us would be more than willing to travel to a decent site, and have done a few times. I sent you a message via Facebook, please drop me a line anytime be good to hook up. Best BoB just checked out you sent a message to the north Kent flyers on Facebook cool
