silver88 Posted January 9, 2014 Share Posted January 9, 2014 Hi - as a newbie to the sport I have been looking into both training options and also possible sites to fly from once trained. I live near Exeter and have seen clips of people flying PPG from both Smeatharpe (Upottery) and Little Haldon disused airfield. Does anyone know whether these sites can be flown without specific arrangements with landowners etc…..I have a feeling that Little Haldon is a SSSI and may therefore be off limits?! (although videos of people flying from/into there fairly recently….) If anyone with info on these sites or other good fields etc within a reasonable reach of Exeter area can assist it would be a massive help!
