Guest
All, I have now been shown pictures of a Blue Silex PPG flying over the middle of Swindon at about 500ft. This has happened a few times over the past few days. Was this you? If so, please feel free to pop over to Lambourn one nice day and say hello, and I will show you a local air map and give you information on Airlaw. In short.... DO NOT FLY OVER BUILT UP AREAS, OR IN RAF AIRSPACE (which Swindon is) a) Illegal b) Unsafe for you and people below you. If anyone else sees a Blue Silex over Swindon, please follow him / her to Landing and let them know the error of their ways. Invite them out to some lovely rolling downs and away from the smog that is Swindon. SW
Guest
A former BMAA rep recently had a blue Silex for several years flying it mainly from Basingstoke but I doubt it would be him as I find him a very knowledgable and conscientious chap. However, I know he has recently been trying out a ReAction so maybe his Silex has been sold to someone else and maybe there lies our answer.
