It looks like if the D shackle fails, then the carabiner is held on only by the stitching across the webbing..then if the stitching comes undone the carabiner is free?
Use a key ring to lock the shackle bolt

Hi Abaatabit
This is everyone's nightmare, what we're the circumstances of the theft of your motor, and as we all know, insurance is all most impossible, your motor will have an engine number for sure, Hope some how you get your motor back. Best of luck.
Geoffw
Not my motor Geoff - it was stolen from a paramotor training field in Essex
The Revolution is the new dual start (pull and electric) motor from Air Conception and only a very few in the country so far
-
It's a dual start Revolution model - not many of them about

Please keep your eyes out for an Air Conception Revolution Dual start paramotor stolen from a training field in Essex yesterday

Thanks everyone for the info.
So, can anyone tell me where to purchase a new crankshaft and gasket(s), etc?
What other things should I do while I have it apart? Bearings, reed valve?
Contact Custom Air Paramotors based in Rayne Essex
Alex is UK dealer and sound bloke

I have just changed the small ribbed crankshaft pulley on mine and it's a tight bugger to get the pulley off
I even messaged Laurent in France how to do it as Alex is away at the moment
My method was to tighten a bearing seperator onto the middle of the pulley and then attached a two leg gear puller to the bearing seperator and applied a lot of pulling tension
I then heated the small pulley with a hot air gun for a good 10 minutes
Whilst it was all very hot I then gave the gear puller tension screw bolt head a good tap with a hammer and the pulley pinged off the taper
I'm now awaiting a M10 x 1.0mm thread die to tidy up the threads on the crankshaft as the nut hot a bit chewed
Hope that helps
Mine is an unclutched one - there is a good YouTube video on removing the clutched version

Legally you only need insurance if you fly a trike - foot launch does not require it
However - if you want peace of mind get insurance and then dont worry if you drop your phone and it wrecks the paint job on a Koeniggseg costing many thousands

I think a week delay is pointless but may be no more or less sensible than a month - in truth I have no idea what will actually happen now regards restrictions being lifted
Unfortunately I have no confidence in anything Boris says anymore
Any later than August and I doubt the days will be long enough to justify a six hour drive each way for me

Glad you had a good flight Stu

I've bought the Pilotaware Rosetta with £163 rebate approved by the CAA
I bought it because I think we will be forced to get something because of changes like the impending drone corridor down the M4
I think the power of Amazon and delivery companies will outweigh anything our small community can do
If we have to have something I'd rather have it at half price
I've found that the Rosetta and its power supply power bank fits neatly into a Gin radio holder
I'll post photos if I can work out how to do so

Police have been given this advice on enforcement
Most significant is last slide
No enforcement action for not following guidance only breaching regulations

Sunday morning flight at Borechasers last April down to the two Severn bridges then back up the Wye valley before coming in and a tiptoe landing
It was my longest flight to date
As I sat with a brew afterwards watching all the happy smiling faces, the gentle friendliness and sheer pleasure of like minded people I realised it literally cant get better than that

Some trade stands shouldn't be a problem
As in all things it's to what degree - a few is no issue, bliads if stands would turn into a trade show
I'm happy you'll judge the right amount to preserve the spirit of the weekend
