Hi chaps, I just found this site and what a great resource!
I'm wandering if you can help me find somewhere to get a taste of this sport and possibly take it up. I live in Leeds city centre. I tryed gliding but everywhere was quite a drive to get to, micrlighting was over by york and the instructor sank of booze so I didn't start that! For a while I've been thinking about starting this sport after reading about it in widola and I suppose watching Bear and Gilo on TV reciently reminded me what I want form a leasure aviation career.
I don't think I have enough money to totally get into the sport just yet, but I think I can afford to learn this summer. Is that advisable or do I need to get a wing and pack straight away?
