Hi Dave.
Just wondered what you now think of the motor? I saw one up close in the USA and tried it on. Didn't fly it, but it felt good. How much will they be here? and any idea of the delivery times?

Hi Guys.
Unfortunatally, I was another Parajet Volution owner who had a brake line go in the prop. I was on a very early Revolution, which had the weak magnets (now sorted) and put the brake in the holder. It came loose and was sucked into the prop. Luckily it only ripped the foam lining out of the thicker part of the handle and I still had a usable brake. Now that I am more experienced this is not likely to happen. Just be carefull you new guys.

Hey Woody, did you fly the Apco Thrust HP? And if you did what were your thoughts?

Actually these machines weigh over 30kg. Everything in America is bigger.
The Prop size is 51" which is 130cm.
So big, Heavy and powerful.

Hi Simon, do you or anyone know if any of the Paramania reflex gliders have any certification? Also what about the Dudex reflex wings, any of those have certification?
Cheers

Any body else frustrated with the lack of movement on using a trike with a paramotor. It seems to me having to pass a microlite pilots licence will not fully cover how to fly a Paraglider with a trike. I contacted 10 or so Microlite schools and none could give me instruction using, a Powered Paraglider or Powered Parachute. I understand that the CAA would regard me taking off with Roller Boots on my feet as a Microlite. This whole system is crazy.
Any one have any news or ideas how to sort this out?
Cheers

The only downer I can see is the USB connection is USB1.1 not 2. So transfer of movies to the computer might take a while. Otherwise, what a great little product!

Hi,
anyone have any experience of the Apco Thrust HP? How does it compare to a Revolution and a Dudek Re-action? I need a dedicated paramotor wing for cross-country so a bit of speed would be nice. I think the reflex wings would be the way to go.

Oh forgot to mention that the Fuel tank comes off in a few seconds (has a quick release fuel pipe) and a large anodised thumb wheel which also doubles up to attach the carrying handle. Nice

Hi I Looked at the web site.
Top 80 engine (Ok for lighter peeps)
High hang points (not so good)
I really dont like the partial lack of netting on the cage.
Otherwise looks good.
Quite a big cage, over 135cm
Very light weight.

Hi Guys.
Please call Carl for prices on Motors, there are 2 options. http://www.custom-air.co.uk/
He is the dealer and UK manufactuer at the moment. I think there will soon be other dealers.
My other motors were DK Whisper, Pap 80, H&E and Parajet. They were all good but non compared to the Custom Air Cruiser in my opinion.
I have taken a few hi-res pics if you want, I can email them to you.
One of the great things is the great power output and the low weight of 22.5kg (thats everything less fuel). Including battery and electric start, harness everthing.
The Paramotor with the 120 cc engine is only 19kg. (that includes clutch).
Its all my opinion and we all have our own favorites/past experiences.

Hi Check out this site.
I have just bought one and I am running it in. This is my 4th Paramotor and it is by far the best I have ever seen or owned!
Great that we have a British company making one of the best units in the world.
Cheers

Hi all.
Believe it or not----go check Paramania web site -
http://flyparamania.com/index.php?optio ... 34〈=en
The 26 Revo is rated for 70kg to 150kg with power. Thats 11 stone to 23.5 stone! Even for Paragliding its rated at 11 stone to over 14 stone.
We all know its better to keep the wing loaded, so even Lardy boys should be OK with this wing under power.

Got to 8500ft ato on a Parajet once. Not that high either, but still had a 1/3rd of a Tank of fuel left. Could have got to above 11000ft maybe.
