Hello everyone!
My name is Ric Winter. I live in Forest Row and i am really looking forward to flying in amazing East Sussex. I trained on a trike in the US but i have never foot launched. I will take the crossover training with Simon and want to get in the air in ES immediately! I have not scoped out any fields yet but I will soon. I would really appreciate any suggestions from you veterans who know the area and flying conditions around the county.
Cheers, Ric

Hello All,
i noticed most of your posts are about flying near the coast. Does anybody fly up north? I'm thinking around the Ashdown forest. Any landlubbers?

Is a liscense required for use of the 2m frequencies?
Is it strictly regulated? Anybody behind bars for not being liscensed?
Who gives courses? Even if its not regulated it seems like a topic one might want to understand quite well before dipping in!

Is the connector that is on the cable that comes with the baofengs identically wired to your schematic Alan? If so could it be recycled?
This isn't flying, this is falling with style.
